    I have installed qmail/pop3/courier-imap on OpenBSD 3.0 and cannot get a
    connection to port 143.

    I have configured a startup script and the authdaemond is starting:

    qmail works fine via pop3 both through a mail client and tested with a
    telnet. When I try to connect via IMAP however, I get a connection
    refused message.

    I have copied the etc files to /etc/courier-imap and had a look at the
    files there. I have not modified authdaemonrc. I have modified imapd
    to the modify the following line to as follows:
    ADDRESS=127.0.0.1,192.168.0.1,24.244.55.158

    localhost, internal NIC address, external NIC address

    I am new to courier-imap and I have read the man pages but I still have
    some questions.

    Where does courier-imap log to?
    Should there be other daemon processes running?

    Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

    I have checked /etc/services to ensure that port 143 is reserved for
    IMAP but now I am stumped...

    Cheers,
