I just installed OpenBSD 3.0, and replied yes when it asked if this computer
will be using X windows.
I noticed that in /etc/sysctl.conf, machdep.allowaperture=2.
All the documentation says machdep.allowaperture should = 1 to use X. And
man 4 xf86 says machdep.allowaperture = 2 "can cause some security
problems."
All I want to know is THE REASON WHY machdep.allowaperture=2 on default
installation when I indicated during installation that I will be using X on
this system.
