    >>Sorry if this is in a faq someplace, I didn't see it.

    >didn't see it" ?= "didn't look"

    != "didn't look"
    I feel doubly admonished but unanswerd.

    I did look. I saw also on my CD's that it is a supported card however when I run dmesg now it shows up as and unknown ethernet device. I am not in front of the machine so I can't give you the exact message. So, my still unanswered question is, now what? What do I do? Can I compile a new kernel that does recognize this card (is the card driver just not in GENERIC)

    I really do not want to move 20 boxes to 3.0 just so I can use a gigabit card on one of them. I want to stay with my 2.9 IPF config that works now, and be able to use my SysKonnect card.

    >oh, you don't have cd's? then you can check the docs from the ftp site:
    >ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/2.9/i386/INSTALL.i386 lists
