    Without wanting to be overly picky, you need to realise that it isn't "the
    *exact* same configuration", because details for your connections will be
    different. And a different ISP could be doing entirely different PPP
    things...

    I think it would really help, at least to give some context to the other
    errors. If you don't want to post it to the list (an admirable trait),
    maybe you can put it on a web site somewhere and link to it...
