There are no open windows, but you can start
The X Windowing System
or just X, or X-Window, with
$ startx
Alternatively you can use X &, xdm or whatever else method you
prefer; the man pages and Google are your friend.
If startx doesn't work, however, odds are that you haven't
configured X yet, or haven't installed it at all.
To configure, use xf86cfg.
