hi, folks.
i ran into some problems running mod_jk on openbsd; specifically, in mod_jk.c, conf->worker_file was well-defined in a call to jk_set_worker_file() but was null in jk_init().
i was able to work around the problem (temporarily) by hard-coding the value of conf->worker_file in the latter function, but i don't want to deploy with such a hack in place.
sound familiar to anyone? what error or oversight might i have committed, as far as configuration or flavor of X + version of Y?
brief system details:
OpenBSD 3.0 (from OPENBSD_3_0 branch; GENERIC conf)
apache 1.3.19 (from OPENBSD_3_0 branch)
tomcat 4.0.4 (from OPENBSD_3_0 branch, ports tree)
mod_jk 1.2.0 (from OPENBSD_3_0 branch, ports tree)
jdk1.3.1_04 (from OPENBSD_3_0 ports tree and sun's website)
logs and conf files are in a post to tomcat.user from last week that had no takers:
jakarta.apache.org/msg61736.html">http://www.mail-archive.com/tomcat-user
jakarta.apache.org/msg61736.html. if, in turn, this is not the appropriate list for this question, could someone send me a pointer to a more appropriate forum? thanks -jp2
