I'm trying to put together my first OpenBSD port from scratch. I followed the
steps in porting.html and all went well until I tried 'make package', whereupon
I saw errors of which the following is a sample:
tar: Unable to access sbin/apcaccess <No such file or directory>
tar: WARNING! These file names were not selected:
sbin/apcaccess
Looking through the list archive, it seems that this is related to improper
use of the LOCALBASE make variable. However, it is unclear to me how LOCALBASE
is intended to be used, and in particular what its relationship is to the
PREFIX make variable.
If someone could enlighten me, it would be appreciated.
(This is an update of apcupsd, currently listed in the ports tree as
apc-upsd.)
