    The "clean" solution is to partition your disk up properly in the first
    place. Here's a system of mine with a 6GB disk. /var has the full cvs
    archive, /usr has X11R6, src, ports, release and kde3. If you have space,
    /usr/local in its own partition is a good idea too. Also note how much space
    my root filesystem uses.
