    Try googling "ibuf floods", and then on a separate search "silo overflows"
    (with the quotes) instead of the whole string. Appears to be a modem/ppp
    problem seen in many *bsds. For example, one of the hits that turns up
    looks relevant:

    i'm getting tons of this. i only found one reference to it on google, a
    netbsd mailing list question back in 1998, mentioning a possible
    misconfiguration of the serial port. i havent gotten any responses from
    anyone about the non-working /dev/cuab. could this be related? machine
    in question is a sparc ipx.
