Hi
Have just installed 3.3 (on a K6-2, with plenty of RAM) with Samba (no
problems there) and Netatalk, to provide, amongst other things, a file server
for a small mixed network.
Having jumped several hurdles, including a kernel rebuild to allow support for
netatalk, I have got this working and the PCs, Linux box and Macs can all
talk to it.
However there is problem with the Mac OS 9 users, in that only users who were
also members of the wheel group could access the shares outside of their home
directories. Have been experimenting with creating a new group with ownership
of the shared directories, and putting everyone in that, but doesnt work.
Getting desperate here, <g>, would be grateful for any help...
