That's fine, no worries. But having the package depend on xpdf
is like having ports that generate HTML output depend on opera
or mozilla.

... so it was pdflatex, rather than xfig, that depended on a PDF
viewer.
Alright, I'll leave it at that. I just think it's a somewhat
strange dependency...
