Yes, and it did no good.

Apachectl actually says that it started httpd; httpd
run by itself simply returns to a shell prompt.
Neither give any errors.

Besides what I mentioned here, very little. The best I
could volunteer (since, as I stated, my main syslog is
not being written for whatever reason) is out of my
ssl_engine_log:

Nope. I looked all over for them, but there were none.

No, as this is how I determined it wouldn't restart.

Funny, I'd tried everything asked about here, I guess
I should have reported my efforts in more detail.
