Running nylon under a different user?

Hi,

I'm settung up nylon, but I need to run it under a different user than
root. Sudo works, but when I want it to run under 'proxy' it cannot
write it's pid in /var/run, and it cannot bind to 1080 (BTW, I thought
only ports up to 1024 are restricted to root?).

To let it run with a different port (2080) and write it's pid to some
other place works, but that doesn't look too proper to me.
