I've managed to get Apache and MySQL Server up and running but I'm still
getting the "cannot load MySQL extension" error when I try to pull up
the PHPMyAdmin main page. I've done several searches (including this
list archive) and tried quite a few different 'fixes' but the problem
is still there.
One question....how does PHP or PHPMyAdmin know where to find my
php.ini file? The file is there but changes to it don't seem to have
any effect.
Yes, I have installed the php-mysql package. This box is just on my
home network so far (not on the net) so I am accessing via IP address.
Any ideas?
