Ok but GENERIC isn't the answer at all...
An OS has to be secure, smal and fast.
Why shoult I waste RAM or space on my hdd for something I never will need?
My Router dosn't need Ext2 support couse there's only oBSD on the HDD.
He dosn't need the compat-options couse there's nothing to emulate.
And he dosn't need any modules.
So I deactivate this options couse their senseless for me and I think for
many other users wich use oBSD as a Router/Firewall or Server.
These options could be usefull on a workstation but not on my router, ok?
And if u won't answer you haven't to answer but please told me not to use
the GENERIC if I explicite told/ask you for something else to make a
non-GENERIC-Kernel.
Don't flame users who will save ram, space or who think they dosn't need
these parts.
What's if you discover a bug in the compat_aout or some other parts of the
kernel?
Yes that's theoretical but take it as a fact: I wont run things (processes)
I never use.
I wonder why I got these mails couse it was a theoretical question like my
S/Key-Question yesterday...
So where is the difference there? And now: These "flame" is closed. If you
wanna flame join a linux-channel on your preferec IRC-Server.

Thanks for your answer! :o)
And: I would be happy if I save RAM/HDD-Space or Time (couse it work
faster).
ALL
"Today every Computer has enough RAM/HDD-Space or CPU-Power"
That's not an argument for me couse I have nothing to waste. No CPU-Power,
no RAM or nothing else.
I think an OS+Computer is like a car.
If you've 70 HPs and you driver over little hill's it could be enough.
But if you wanna driver over an higher hill 70HPs maybe not enough.
So what's to do? You could by a stronger engine, better tires, a body of Al.
Yes you can...
Or you can optimes things on your car.
Maybe this example fails but it's hard to translate slang into english.
But the sens of this example should be clear.
Every thing should be optimized. Or looks your car like one of UPS?
And for UPS your car isn't optimized enough.
Thanks to all (or just the lonely one who answered) for the help.
