Unfortunately the story was released very incompletely, very
inappropriately.

What is in the snapshots is *just* the LBA capable MBR code.
This will NOT in ANY WAY allow you to do what you are attempting to do
by itself. It does not change the 8G limit by itself. It is just one
piece of the puzzle.

This MBR needs to be tested for compatablity with existing systems.
It has to not break anything. It isn't the whole solution in and of
itself.
