ITYM OpenBSD 3.4. You probably want to see the ports(7) manual page.

690
as you can see, there's quite a bit of gnome-related stuff in the ports tree.
Sounds like you are probably looking for /usr/ports/x11/gnome, and maybe some
other bits. Installing from ports will tend to guarantee the best degree of
reliability (as opposed to building from a generic source tarball).
