Re: adding Soekris 4801 to supported architectures

Quite frankly, I do OpenBSD even though assholes like you exist.

If anyone submits a bug report that is clearly against a non-GENERIC
kernel, most of the time I delete it.

It is not worth out time. Most of the time it is quite clearly the
person's error. That error came out of them being button pushing
happy. Well if they are so happy button pushing, they can fix it
themselves and stay away.

And quite frankly, I despise it when some high-and-might jerk like
cloder comes onto our lists and starts advising people to use
more custom compiled kernels.

Because it really does cause more people to try using custom
kernels.

And they should not, and need not, except in very finely specified
situations where it makes sense. Which is almost never. If you
have to do it, you know who you are, and you have better sense than
telling lists that it is a wise idea. This list is about general
use quite often, and custom compiled kernels are not.

So cloper, whoever you are, please take your informed retarded
opinions elsewhere, where you will cause less damage.
