Who cares? Any modern laptop, server or desktop is likely to have enough
RAM that fiddling with driver removal is going to be lost in the noise.

Would you prefer the developers to be fiddling with driver sets or
fixing real bugs and implementing useful stuff? (... or rehashing the
same already-answered questions on mailing lists).

I think my time is worth more than 2Mb of RAM: ~AUD$2.50 for good
PC3200 stuff.
