Why should I ?
I though I was supposed to be running a release. If a problem exists
under 3.5 I should then try -current to see if the problem is fixed and
if so... what does it change, it is still not working under 3.5.

> You haven't provided a useful problem report (dmesg, dammit!),

What do you need in dmesg except that my boxes all have SBlive!
Do you want me to send you 3 different dmesg from 3 different boxes
whose only common thing is the soundcard model. It is something that has
to do with SBlive! and xmms under 3.5 (playing wav files with waveplay
works)... the problem is reproductible on my 3 boxes.

> You haven't tested the proposed solution.

duh... I am not _that_ stupid... I would not propose anything on tech
without trying it first !!!

> "You want tech? YOU CAN'T HANDLE TECH" :)

That is true, for sure...

Actually, I did get help.
Anyway, I guess you did not beat on me, nor ignored me obviously... I
should then consider myself happy I got some answers.

Thanks for your franchise, and I'm sorry if I asked the wrong way, I
didn't mean it.

Regards,

Antoine

ps: one of my boxes dmesg
