Not true, you can have multiple A6 partitions ;). From my current setup:
Disk: wd0 geometry: 9726/255/63 [156248190 Sectors]
Offset: 0 Signature: 0xAA55
Starting Ending LBA Info:
#: id C H S - C H S [ start: size ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
0: 1B 0 1 1 - 764 254 63 [ 63: 12289662 ] <Unknown ID>
*1: A6 765 0 1 - 3314 254 63 [ 12289725: 40965750 ] OpenBSD
2: A6 3315 0 1 - 5864 254 63 [ 53255475: 40965750 ] OpenBSD
3: B5 5865 0 1 - 9725 254 63 [ 94221225: 62026965 ] <Unknown ID>
The second A6, OBSD partition, has been disklabelled "p"
16 partitions:
# size offset fstype [fsize bsize cpg]
[snip]
p: 40965750 53255475 4.2BSD 2048 16384 328 # (Cyl. 52832*-
