As many of you already know, there's been a recent push to improve support
in OpenBSD for wireless devices. Drivers that have shown up over the
past while include ath(4), atu(4), atw(4), and ipw(4). Also, you've
witnessed a very public effort to get vendors to free up their firmware.
So, significant progress is being made.
The next chipset on our hitlist is the Prism GT/Duette/Indigo. Does
anyone have any of these devices to donate? Here's a matrix of supported
cards for the Linux driver:
http://prism54.org/supported_cards.php
We'll accept cards for any bus type. The Netgear WG511 Cardbus seems
popular, or the SMC 2802 PCI card.
If you have any hardware to share, please email me. Thanks!
