That even when I enabled software WEP, I could not use a key of over 13 bytes --
i.e. "ABCDEFGHIJKLM" works, but not "ABCDEFGHIJKLMN".

Thanks very much for the info.

Do you (or anyone else reading this) think it would make sense to add
information regarding firmware updates to the wi(4) man page, with the caveat
that any procedures noted are undertaken at the card owner's own risk? If not
specific step-throughs or links to info pages, perhaps even a note that, for
example, any Prism-based firmware update tool will work on any card with a Prism
chipset?
