hmm, on Wed, Jan 19, 2005 at 07:37:54PM +0100, Igor Boehm said that

i will give this a try.
although i am in 'staff' class, my ulimit -a shows:
amaaq> ulimit -a
time(cpu-seconds) unlimited
file(blocks) unlimited
coredump(blocks) unlimited
data(kbytes) 131072
stack(kbytes) 4096
lockedmem(kbytes) 156850
memory(kbytes) 469260
nofiles(descriptors) 64
processes 128
i know this is more of a misc
question, but /etc/login.conf says:
staff:\
:datasize-cur=75M:\
:datasize-max=infinity:\
:maxproc-max=256:\
:maxproc-cur=128:\
<snip>
how is ulimit's 'data', 'lockedmem', 'memory' related to
/etc/login.conf's 'datasize-cur' and 'datasize-max'?
