From axe(4):

     The axe driver provides support for USB Ethernet adapters based on the
     ASIX Electronics AX88172 USB 2.0 chipset, including the following:

     o D-Link DUBE100
     o LinkSys USB200M
     o Netgear FA120
     o Buffalo(MELCO) LUA-U2-KTX
     o Sitecm LN029
     o Corega FEther USB2-TX

My axe device seems to work ok although there are some additional changes
that make it work better with -current.

I'd be interested if you can find a USB Ethernet device that does not
work. I imagine it would just be a case of adding support to the relevant
driver as I think we have pretty much all the chipsets out there covered
now.
