I don't think so, my /tmp had 400 MB available before and after
compiling. It couldn't be that compiling takes up 400MB on /tmp which
got cleaned after the error, could it?
I think it's an nfs error, but I tried with setting rsize and wsize to
1024 and I tried nfs over tcp. Another strange thing was that I couldn't
remove /usr/obj/* afterwards, it said something like: directory lib not
empty, but it looked empty (also no hidden files) I had to move it to
another name on the nfsserver.
