Hello,
Does OpenBSD support any USB 2.0 and/or Firewire external enclosures?
I am thinking of using one such enclosure 24/7 as the boot and runtime
source for my multipurpose home server.
Is introduction of USB 2.0 link before a 2.5" 4200rpm drive going to
affect its performance by a noticeable margin?
What about CoolMax HD-211-U2 or HD-211-COMBO enclosures? Are they
good? If anyone dealt with these, do they have rubber damping feet?
P.S. The HDD I am going to use the enclosure with is Fujitsu MHT2040AT
40GB 4200rpm, and the machine it is most likely to run on is Asus
Terminator C3.
Thanks,
Constantine.
