The array was purchased and came to Calgary today. I just finished
electrocuting myself in theo's panel hooking up a couple more UPS
circuits, and we just finished plugging in the array to start it
initializing. We'll be phasing in the new array on a new CVS server at
an appropriate time soon.
Insofar as bottlenecks go, well, cvs will always be I/O bound
for those sorts of things, so it's not really a question of eliminating
the bottlenecks as opposed to making the I/O go as fast as reasonably
possible.
