I had bad experiences with SiS (also Chipsets (OpenBSD and even Linux wont
boot)) so maybe the fastest solution is: Go to a shop near to you and buy
another 10/100Mbit Card for 3USD (Mostly a rl). I don't know if the rl
performs as good as the sis but rl works ok and sis did not (at my old
PC).
Maybe you can get an "old" 3COM 10/100 Mbit cards from a second hand shop
or a company wich buy new Computers. I had the luck that a company I know
bought ne PCs (to replace their P2 333Mhz...) and I was allowed to get the
old PCs for free. And they all included a 3COM NIC (ok, just one had a
rl). :)

Just my experiences with my own sis0... :)

Kind Regards,
Sebastian
