Without wanting to go in any sort of pro-contra discussion, I'm
interested in the reason why it doesn't satisfy your development needs.

Personally I'm looking into changing my choice of source code versioning
system and am currently playing with subversion, along with svk. The
latter offers me the "offline" support that I feel a need for lately and
which is the reason I'm considering switching.

My first choice was darcs, but given the fact that my server systems run
OpenBSD, this wasn't the easiest to get working. After a few days
testing it prooved not to be really stable (at least the version I
managed to get to work).

So I continued my search and found out that subversion looked like a cvs
"on steroids". Combined with svk is seems a nice way up from the classic
cvs approach.

Off course I can only rely on what is written on the web and this
doesn't always proove to be the most reliable source of information :)
So therefore I'm really interested in your input on this topic.

Thanks a lot in advance,
Christophe VG
