specifically the card you are talking about (do you know it is the same
as the Senao?).

I have used this in a few Soekris boxes and haven't had any issues.
I have also been told that some of the ath cards are junk. I don't know
enough about the specific radio and drivers to know, though. If you
need "a" and "g" support, then this might work (it looks like this is a
AR5212 card, but I am NOT sure - I just happen to know that the AR5212
works):
