Dear Mr. Majid Awad,

As I`ve mentioned in the first e-Mail I was looking for a Laptop.
Now I decided to get a IBM R51 because it has good/working OpenBSD-Support.

This Laptop comes with a INTEL-WLAN-Card.
And now I`ve to tell you that I`m (now as a CUSTOMER) PISSED OFF.
Why does a cheap 15EUR WLAN-Card or WLAN-USB-Stick with a cheap asian Chip
works out of the box and YOUR WLAN does nto work?
Why do I`ve to visit your website and download the FIRMWARE needed manualy?

I`ve choosed to get this Laptop because I got a good offer (550EUR) but
I`m (as CUSTOMER) PISSED OFF by INTEL because of their damn braindead
Policies!

You ever tried to DOWNLOAD a Firmware if you`ve no cable-network and NO
USB-Stick to get to another (not INTEL-based Computer(!)) just to get the
damn fucking firmware?

I`m sorry for my strong words but the last mail was more political and I
did explained the reasons why I dislike YOUR Products but NOW, because I`m
affected, YOUR company does PISS me off and makes my will NOT to buy INTEL
products even stronger. Like Microsoft does it with VISTA wich is crap
too.

As I`ve said.. sorry for the hard words.
But I did explained in my first e-Mail what`s the reason I wouldn4t choose
your products. Now I`ve choosed to buy something wich includes your
products but just because I got a good deal and NOT because YOUR company
is so good and supports OpenSource-Developers!

What`s next? Do you provide a printout of the Firmware so that customers,
who use a OS wich you don`t "support", can use a editor to "download" it
from those papers by typing it char. by char.?

I realy had NO network and it took me about ~2 hours to get to a place
with a PC I could use to get that DAMN FILE!
And I didn4t got it from a INTEL Website because I WONT register for the
shit. I did bought it sow hy the hell can`t I use it..
If I`ve enought money the first stuff I`ll do is to REPLACE your damn
fucking card with a RaLink because RaLink allows OpenBSD to provide the
Firmware free (for FREE, without braindead NDAs!).

Just get it!
Those guys WONT disassemble your damn FIRMWARE!
They just wanna SHIP (it free) with their OS!
Why not forcing Windows-Users to download Firmware of their Network-Card
manualy? Wouldn`t that be a goooood idea? Lets force everybody who owns a
INTEL 10/100MBit Card to download Firmware....
Just guess how many customers would be pissed off and start HATING your
company. Customers wont deal with such crap and MOST customers don`t even
know where to get firmware or what FIRMWARE is.

I`m sure you`ll get my point even I`m a "littlebit" agressiv.
But how would you feel if you would have to travel ~2 hours just to make
your CAR work... because your Manufracter forces you to get the gas from
ONE single GAST-Station (like the Firmware from the INTEL Website)?
A Laptop is something wich I wanna USE and nothing wich I wanna spend TIME
TO to make it work! I`m buying things to DO something and not to spend
TIME to it.Do you employee peoples because you wanna SPEND time and money?
NO! Peoples do work for you because they should DO somethign and not
because you like to waste time and money.

So please allow any OS to simply JUST DISTRIBUTE your Firmware!
And I`m using OPENBSD.. just to remind you in case your forgot about it!

OpenBSD 4.0-current is runnign fine for me!
