Subject: mpi driver

Hello,
We have in production some servers (DELL PowerEdge 840 with LSI scsi card)
with installed Openbsd 4.1.

The problem is that disk system speed is very low when the RAID-1 is
configured.
I mean that it works stably but slow. I expected at least the speed of one
disk or a bit slower.

The main question: Does anybody khow how it is possible to fix this
problem?

I found one old post related this topic (It seems the prob. still exist).
http://archive.openbsd.nu/?ml=openbsd-tech&a=2004-04&t=189139

Here below the output of speed test and dmesg. The difference in
"Sequential Output" with the standard (non RAID) openbsd machine is about
10 times!

Best regards.
Igor Moiseev.
