Hello pammers. :>
I am new to the PAM world.
Question #1: Good educational reading on how PAM modules and the PAM API
work? Where could I find such a resource?
I have a stock SuSE 6.2 box. I'm not sure which PAM version it runs
(perhaps there is a SuSE tech on this list who knows). Anyway, before the
days of PAM I used to use/abuse /etc/login.access (man section 5, probably,
for info on login.access). Now, it seems, login.access doesn't do anything
useful.
Questions #2: Is there a means via PAM to achieve the affect of login.acces,
which basically is to allow/disallow logins from users/groups from various
locations? I'm assuming there is but I have no idea what it would be. :)
Thanks!
