'ello folks.
I've installed pam 0.72 on my SuSE box, minus the pwdb stuff. I've been
playing around with the cracklib stuff (pam_cracklib); haven't been able to
do that in the past cuz the older pam_unix.so chokes on it.
Anyways, a luser goes to change his password and it bombs out like this:
(current) UNIX password:
New UNIX password:
Retype new UNIX password:
/usr/share/dict/cracklib_dict.pwd: No such file or directory
PWOpen: No such file or directory
I have cracklib_dict.* installed, tho SuSE throws it in /usr/lib for some
reason. Temporary fix has just been a few symlinks and all is good.
This is a round about way to ask: is there any place to specify where the
cracklib dictionaries are (ie some config file), or is this only specified
at compile time?
Please excuse my newbie-ness. :>
Regards,
kw
