hi all
I am running Openldap 2.07 on a Suse 7.1 and want to do the
authentication of all users with pam_ldap , but the onlyone who can
login is the administrator of the ldap-server. the error message i get is:
login: Cannot make/remove an entry for the specified session
pam_warn.so tells me :
PAM-warn[1804]: service: login [on terminal: /dev/tty1]
PAM-warn[1804]: user: (uid=0) -> brech [remote: ?nobody
?nowhere]
What I think is that for the ldap admin pam takes the password out of
the slapd.conf
and for normal user pam doesn' t know where to find the needed information
so how do I have to configure ldap.conf (do I have to do it there ?) ?
where can I find some more detailed information about pam_ldap ?
any hints are very welcome
thanks
markus
