i've looked through the documentation and these mailing lists and still check_sender_access does not work for me.
it's located in main.cf on the line:
smtpd_sender_restrictions = check_sender_access hash:/etc/postfix/access
and in /etc/postfix/access i tried three different ways to give access to a user:
user
myhostname.com OK
user
OK
myhostname.com OK
i've 'postmap access' and i've 'postfix reload' and i still get 554 error when trying to send 'mail from:user
myhostname.com' rcpt to: anywhere
anyone.com..
anyone have any suggestions/advice as to why it doesn't work and/or how to fix it? my postfix version is 19990906 pl2 (running on a fbsd machine)
thank you,
Alex
