I've done a little more fiddling with the Postfix LMTP patch and it
seems to be doing pretty well. Folks can grab it from:

ftp://ftp.utdallas.edu/pub/staff/amos/postfix/lmtp-19990427-02.tar.gz

Just untar it into the Postfix top-level source directory and see
the README.lmtp for further details.

Oh, during some of my testing I added another tunable,
lmtp_skip_quit_response. So if you've installed the 19990427 patch
before, you'll need to re-apply the included global-patch to the
original Postfix global/mail_params.h file.
