informally, i'd probably say spamming...same as i occasionally say that
some program is "spamming my logfiles" or "spamming the ethernet with
crap". neither of these phrases mean that the program is literally
spamming, it's only an analogy (and a fairly obvious one at that).
i wouldn't use the term where there was a possibility for confusion.
i.e. i'll generally only use it with colleagues and peers who know what
i mean.
your "spamtool" is an example of the same thing - it's a joking analogy.
