It's really a shame that all linuxi are not the same. My redhat
environment uses even less (and I've not done a manual strip of the
libraries):

[rootwww2 SPECS]# du -s /var/spool/postfix/lib
39 /var/spool/postfix/lib
[rootwww2 SPECS]# du -s /var/spool/postfix/etc
8 /var/spool/postfix/etc
