I have written a SQL mailbox program in the past. It doesn't split up
things like MIME etc..but I assume it wouldn't be hard to do. The only
thing is, it is written against MySQL, and not oracle. I do have a nice
abstraction layer in it so you end up having to replace two functions
calls. The question is, how do you plan on getting the mail out of the
Oracle DB. I also have a SQL based POP3 server. It works okay...just
doesn't support things like TOP very well at this point.
