Hi,

I see there is software by Pavel Yakovlev from May last year to support
encoding things to base64 if the destination SMTP server does not
support both 8BITMIME and ESMTP. However, this patch seems to consist of
a replaced smtp_proto.c, which seems not quite up-to-date when diff'd
against 19991231-pl02.

Is there an updated version or a patch rather than a replaced
smtp_proto.c or has the patch been forward-ported to 19991231?
