   You don't know that. What you do know is that the backup MX'es have at
least as good ways of getting the email to the destination as your own host
has. Sometimes the backup MX'es have special arrangements for delivering
the email. The primary MX may not even be the destination host.

   Ask yourself this question: If the backup MX'es wasn't supposed to get
the email when the primary one is unavailable, why would they be listed as
backup MX'es in the first place?

   Please don't break Internet email.
