Postfix Archives: cyrus deliver error should defer

cyrus deliver error should defer

Subject: cyrus deliver error should defer

so, i was in a meeting today and got pages as my /mail filled ... 95% ... 96%
... 97% ... 98% ... 99% ... 100% ...

I found a rather exciting bounce message in my INBOX, which can be found at
the end of this message.

The reason for the mail loop could possibly be blamed in part on procmail ...
I have it set to forward messages to dannyman+inbox, which is how I'm testing
a "default mail filter rule" ... given no other previous rules, it delivers to
subfolder inbox, which does not exist, so it really just goes to inbox, and
everything is happy, under normal circumstances.

Anyways ... I'm guessing the fix I want here is that is Postfix is piping in
to cyrus' deliver, and deliver freaks out because the disk is full, then
Postfix should defer delivery, rather than bounce. Can I configure this? Has
anyone else done so?

Thanks,
-dannyman
