For POP: qmail-pop3d (www.qmail.org) and solidpop3 (www.freshmeat.net)
For IMAP: courierimap (www.inter7.com/courierimap). There's also a
patched UW_IMAP that works with Maildirs, but you'll have to search the
qmail archives to find out about it. I don't have a URL handy. In any
case, courierimap is much smaller, faster, and flexible.
