I seem to be dropping mail, or Outlook is not
collecting mail from my pop3 daemon correctly.

I am trying to get a handle on what's wrong.
In the log file there are a series of connection
refuse errors.

What does "warning: biff_notify: Connection refused"
mean? Is there a resource with an explanation of
all the error messages.

Strictly speaking I don't know if this is an
error message or simply part of the process of
handling virtual mail.
