Without having tried: postfix only uses the old 1.85 interface of
Berkeley DB (it was already pointed out, that you must enable the
185-compatibility mode).
So if this mode is available in db-3.0.55, you should also be able
to use it. If you do so succesfully, you should consider keeping this
list informed :-) (Of course, if it is not possible, you should also
keep us up to date, so that we are warned...)
