Subject: RE: which Sleepycat DB version is best for postfix compile?

I tried 3.0.55 and get SIGBUS out of postalias under both Solaris 2.6 and
2.7. The db library and postfix build cleanly (3.0.55 claims to support
1.85 compat mode) but the results were not good. I did finally make
db-3.0.55 work by using libpthread instaed of libthread. Of course now you
have to link postfix against libpthread as well. I think sleepycat needs
more work on 3.0.55.

To make my statement clear: I did not try db-3. I have succesfuly used db-2
up to 2.7.7.
