I have a similar problem here. I've been RTFM'ing for some time now,
but it beats me. I have a number of internal sites which all come out
as <site>.domain.co.uk. When leaving the company and passing
through the mail gateway I would like to have all senders rewritten as
user
domain.com. I've tried adding canonical maps on the mail-gateway
as such:
/
*.\.domain\.co\.uk$/
domain.com
with no luck.
from my main.cf:
$myhostname = domain.co.uk
canonical_maps = dbm:/etc/postfix/canonical
masquerade_domains = $mydomain, domain.com
relay_domains = $mydestination, $virtual_domains, domain.com
cheers,
