Subject: mail forwarding loop?
From: Scott Blachowicz (scottsabami.seaslug.org)

Hi-

I just got the appended message bounce from my recently installed
postfix system. I've had this script that I've been running forever:

    echo send | dist -form $d.distcomps -noedit > /dev/null

that uses the MH (nmh, actually) "dist" command to bounce a message to myself.
I use it when I've got a message in one of my mailing list MH folders (where
messages automagically land from my "mailagent" rules) that I want to be
in my inbox (aka todo box) to be filed elsewhere. So, I was wondering what
postfix uses to trigger that mail forwarding loop detection bounce - is it
that "Delivered-To:" header it adds? If so, I guess I can figure out a way to
strip it somewhere along the line.

Also, I notice the bounce message doesn't include all the headers from
the original message. Is there a way to make sure all the headers get
in there? (RTFM is a perfectly OK answer...:-)).

Thanx,
Scott Blachowicz
